Built-in catalog

This catalog documents the supported built-ins and their signatures for Scripting v3.

• alert — Script-declared alerts with typed payloads, triggered from handler code.
• collections — Reads and updates arrays, rolling buffers, and maps; float collections support null and missing map reads return null.
• color — Color constructors, channel accessors, interpolation helpers, and named colors; channels and alpha are 0-255 and out-of-range values clamp.
• data — Provides market-data sources, subscription records, and snapshot query receivers for confirmed, forming, and trade data.
• entities — Chart annotation entities backed by bounded keyed pools.
• input — User input constructors and input-panel layout markers for setup and live evaluation.
• log — Script log output, capped by your data plan and visible while the script runs.
• markets — Eval-only host-provided exchange and instrument metadata helpers. Values are stable metadata, not bar or snapshot market state.
• math — Numeric functions and constants for arithmetic, rounding, random values, and finite-value checks.
• plot — Declares plot outputs and updates them with stream or keyed rows.
• script — Change the indicator title shown on the chart. Use pane.setTitle for panes you declare.
• str — String conversion, formatting, and UTF-8 string helpers, including string methods exposed here as str.* functions.
• surfaces — Render surfaces for windows, panes, chart panels, heatmaps, and tables.
• ta — Technical-analysis indicators for rolling, recursive, offset, and OHLCV kinds; each call site keeps its own independent state.
• time — UTC time helpers. Duration and timeframe math use fixed seconds; calendar starts use UTC day, week, month, and year boundaries.
